Institutions may opt to self-assess a course rather than submit it to TELAS online for peer review. A decision in this regard must be weighed against the value of having a course assessed through the rigorous and objective assessment procedures that TELAS offers.
While there is no obligation to submit a self-assessed course to TELAS for formal review, it is a requirement that the institution completes a Self-Assessment before submitting it for a formal review in TELAS. In this case, the completed course assessment must be emailed to the TELAS Administrator when the course details are submitted.
If you wish to undertake a self-assessment, it is undertaken offline using the TELAS self-assessment tool available free for downloading here.
